Researchers from ASEC and Cyble discovered free trojan offers on hacker forums that aim to steal cryptocurrencies from aspiring cybercriminals. They monitor the victim’s clipboard contents for cryptocurrency addresses and replace them with attackers’ wallets.
📌 XCOPY gets for another digital creation
XCOPY is known as one of the most popular NFT creators, this time selling his digital work on Nifty Gateway for $23 million. One such work, “Right-click and Save as guy,” sold last December for $7.09 million. This NFT was among the top ten most expensive non-swappable tokens after the sale.
📌 Binance will donate cryptocurrency
Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has launched a platform called “Learn and Earn,” whose users will be rewarded with digital assets for winning quizzes. There are six quizzes on the platform. The trading platform will give 1 Binance USD (BUSD) for passing a quiz and 20,000 Shiba Inu (SHIB) for completing digital asset trading tasks.
📌 ExxonMobil converts 18 cubic meters of gas into energy for mining
U.S. multinational oil and gas corporation ExxonMobil is considering using surplus natural gas to mine bitcoins in Argentina, Guyana, Germany and Nigeria.
The oil giant is reportedly already launching a pilot project to convert gas into bitcoins in the U.S. state of North Dakota.
📌 Stargate Finance has raised nearly $2 billion
Stargate Finance’s crosschain protocol managed to raise more than $1.9 billion in TVL in just six days after being acquired by investment fund Alameda Research. Stargate Finance is positioning itself as allowing users to make crosschain transactions with their own assets with the Total Value Locked (TVL) liquidity transfer protocol. The protocol offers decentralized finance (DeFi) users the ability to place Stablecoins in pools where they are paid in Stargate’s own token (STG).
